Fishing Notes |
---|
A top water bite is always a lot of fun. Perhaps better quality fish could have been taken on deep water and long tapering points stroking the jig, but it is so hard to put down the top water bait when they are hitting it aggressively. Fish are also still be taken in spawning areas, especially behind docks with a frog in the Tan Tara area, according to my friend Jack Uxa, Jacks Guide Service. Also, nice fish were being caught consistently stroking a 1 oz jig on points and ledges in the dam area according to my good friend and tournament fisherman, Todd Barnes. |
