Fishing Notes |
---|
Overall this was a tough day for me. I am sure that somewhere on the lake the fish are being caught. Today, I fished long points, rocky bluffs, channel banks and shallow backs of coves. Most fish seemed to be midway in the water column, so in addition to throwing bottom baits (jigs and shaky head) I also emptied the tackle box, throwing spinnerbaits, crankbaits, jerkbait, etc. Finally late afternoon, I was able to get on a bluff bite in 8-20 feet of water with a jig. |
