Location/Presentation/Structure

Bluffs and ledges. Presentation was a steady and hopping retrieve, moving the bait from 15′ to 25′ drop off the ledges.

Fishing Notes

Fish were suspended just off the bottom off the bluffs and ledges in about 15′ to 25′ depths. The key to the catch was to hop the bait just off the bottom for the fish to take it. Also, just the right amount of moderate wind hitting the bluff, if there was too much wind or too little wind the fish would not bite.

One of Jims guest was paralyzed from the waist down. His goal with the fishing trip was to catch at least on 3 pound bass. He caught the 5 pound bass. Congratulations for a great fish. Great guide work by Jim Dill.
