Fishing Notes |
---|
It look as though it should have been an excellent evening for a topwater bite. The water was flat, the sky was cloudy and no boat traffic. Fished from 6:30-8:30 in the evening. I will report the fishing in these 2 hours as fair as I had many hits on the topwater. Fished a couple channel banks that have produced some real nice bass recently. The bass along here were just knocking the spook out of the water. Bass 3, Dave 0. Went to another location just before dark and hit 4 larger secondary points. Caught 1 keeper largemouth and one keeper spotted bass and a short. In addition to 6 more hits where they just swatted at the Spook. Bass 6, Dave 3. |
