Fishing Notes |
---|
Fished in the heat of the day for an hour with one small bass on a point. This evening was better as we caught 3 keepers in about 30 minutes on two docks next to each other. The bass were on the deeper end of the dock in 15 feet of water. One of the keepers hit the crankbait on the top corner of the dock and the other two committed to a slow worm dragged along the front side of the dock. Lisa, a video editor for Bassing Bob said “this can’t be” after catching my second keeper 10 minutes apart. Two cast later to a corner of a dock she landed a 3 Pounder. She was determined to catch more or a larger bass than mine. Jack Uxa owner and guide with Jacks Guide Service reported they were catching some real nice bass on deep points with brush piles. |
