Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I fished from 12:00PM – 2:00PM and then from 6:30PM – 9:PM. During the afternoon I caught the three keeper bass, one solid 3 pounder and a couple of 16 inchers. These fish were caught around shade, one off a ledge under the Hwy.54 bridge, one on the shady side of a dock and the 3rd keeper was behind a dock next to a concrete walkway pillar. This evening, I fished mostly shallow toward the back of a cove as there are a lot of bait fish balls moving to the backs of coves, I caught one short fish on a small swim bait but that was all. Perhaps the big bass are not quite following these bait fish balls back yet, or perhaps not in the cove I was fishing. I caught a few shorts this evening on the 10″ plastic worm in brush piles in 20′ of water in a bluff cut. |
