Fishing Notes |
---|
It was a strange 1.5 hours as there was a lot of bait fish around. The bass were busting on the top scattered around the back of the cove. We had several hits on the spook and many misses. We tried chrome rattle traps, a plastic worm, and a chug bug. We could not hook with any of these. We did not have much time to fish today but knew the bass were in the area. Maybe better luck next time. Here is a report from members on Tuesday and today. Thanks for sharing your report bmm102883 and Marvin618!!! bmm102883-Main points where the gravios and osage meet, typically in the first 3 miles of a gravios arm are catching fish. Position boat in 30-40 of water, casting to the 15-20ft range and work dark colored worms back to the boat. 10″ seem to be working the best rigged texas style. Marvin618- Fished this morning 6:30-10:00 am. Five fish, one keeper close to three pounds. Fished main channell points and short ways inside of coves. Baits. 10in. Power worm green, and senko/ wacky head purple worm |
