Backs of big coves around bait fish. |
Fishing Notes |
---|
I fished today from 1:00PM – 6:00PM. I fished the very backs of large coves where there were balls of bait fish. While I did not catch any really big fish, I had so much fun. Gangs of bass were ambushing the bait fish. It seemed that every 10 minutes that there was a flurry of bass slamming the bait fish. I just sat in the back of the coves, waited for the flurry and moved to it and threw top water baits into the flurry. Many fish would hit and miss the top water, but others would just hammer it, the bites were plentiful and fun. The two keepers caught were caught around the docks in these shallow areas. |
