Fishing Notes |
---|
This was a unique fishing day for me. I was invited along with Wayne Fitzpatrick, owner of Fitz Tackle and Bassing Bob expert. We put in at Linn Creek and ran up the lake to the river area at the 65mm – 75mm. This is a very different area to fish as it is characterized by bluffs on one side and very shallow banks on the other side, no big boats or condo complexes, just open water and some older houses and docks. We fished the docks in 2-6 feet of water on the main channel, swimming a jig, running a spinner and working a 10″ plastic worm along the sides of docks and backs of docks. Most fish were caught on the top side of the dock just under the dock floats. While the bite was not consistent, this pattern can be run throughout the lake, when sunny fishing the shady areas of shallow docks. |
