Fishing Notes |
---|
I fished this morning with my grandchildren, mostly just working a senco and crankbait in the backs of coves where we were skunked for an hour. This evening, I fished from 5:00pm to 7:00pm without grandkids :). I caught a 16″ keeper out of brush off the end of a dock in about 12′ of water, I had a couple of other solid bites in the brush but did not land the fish. I then fished some creek coves with deep water and good rocky banks with the rattle trap and caught two 16″ keepers. Then I moved to bluff/creek points and caught several short fish on the rattle trap. I think that if I was to have more time (family obligations kept me from fishing longer) to continue fishing the rocky points with rattle trap and/or brush piles with a worm, I would have caught more fish and more keepers. Both of those bites were on this evening. |
