One Hot Day

Main docks and back of coves/ the bass came on the top corner of docks.

Today was one hot day on the water. We continuously were looking for wind or even a breeze on the banks or hitting docks. When we found the breeze it literally lasted for less than a couple of minutes.
The water temperature was 6 degrees warmer than yesterday. We had readings as high as 92. Spent a lot of time in the very back of the coves as we saw some nice size gizzard shad. We targeting the deeper end of the docks and any other cover we could find near the large shad. We caught a few on the main lake docks. All the bass caught on the main lake hit in the shade on the fall in fairly deep water. This pattern will work but most of these bass were small. The big ones will be following those large gizzard shad but today we couldn’t get them to bite.
