Fishing Notes |
---|
To get away from the holiday boat traffic today, I ran up the Glaize. The water up there is stained but there is a lot of floating debris also stumps and lay downs. I mostly concentrated on points and the backs of coves. I did not catch any fish on points, all fish came in shallow water 2′-5′ of water in the backs of coves around cover. Shade was necessary for all fish caught today. In addition to the 10″ plastic worm I also fished with a jig, square bill crankbait, buzz bait and creature baits. The fish seem to want the bait moving/swimming. Gizzard shad are starting to show up in bigger numbers midway to the backs of coves. |
