Dock Corners and Wave Breaks

Fishing Notes

While Bassing Bob team is off the water for a couple of days, Bassing Bob Expert Jack Uxa and Professional Advisor, Shirtless Shane of Robins Resort reported catching numbers of bass today, fishing dock ends and wave breaks with wind hitting directly on the corners of these bass havens. Both reported catching bass on these cover structures using worms, flukes and shallow diving crank baits. Shane reported to have caught several Kentucky Bass on the wave breaks, including some KY keepers, Ky’s hit hard and fight hard, that is a very fun bite. Jack also reported catching several keeper bass off the dock ends with wind. So, find those dock ends and wave break ends with the wind hitting directly on that cover. Does not matter weather it is main lake dock or the back of a cove, just find the best wind and the cover that is hanging out the furthest into the channel. For big keepers, keep working the backs of coves shallow where there are numbers of gizzard shad, flip those docks and laydowns in shallow water with a worm, buzz bait, jig or brush hog in the darkest locations of a dock and under swim platforms for a a hawg. If you want to get dialed into the fish, take Jack out for a guide trip www.fishinglakeoftheozarks.com or stay at Robins Resort and ask for Shane to get you on the fish. Sorry no pictures today.
