Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I only had a couple of hours to fish in the mid afternoon. There was good wind hitting the sides and corners of condo docks, so I fished those areas with a senco and swimming a jig with no takes. I decided to focus on brush piles in the limited time that I was on the water, as brush piles always have the potential to catch some good fish. I fished the brush with a Gene Larew large Hoodaddy (profile similar to a brush hog but bigger) texas rigged with a 1/2 oz weight. I was looking for just a couple of big bites. I did get a couple of good bites, but I missed the hook set on both of them. I did catch some short fish with this bait in the brush. |
