The fish were all caught on docks. The jig was hit on the fall. The jerkbait was on the deep corners of the dock and inside the well. The worm caught them inside the wells and the corners of the docks

Fishing Notes

This morning started out very foggy. I did not get out for an hour or so after the fog lifted. Today was tough for me to get any big bites. I had many several small bites. I started out in an area behind condo docks that normally produce. There was many shad in the area. It was well shaded and thought it would be ideal for the spook. There were no takers. I moved to a bluff cut and fish a worm and a jig, again not takers. I moved to a back of cove that is productive this time of the year..no takers. By now I was scratching my head. I got out a jerkbait, something I haven’t fished with since March. The first cast on a corner of the dock had a bass hit it but did not hook up. Second cast on the same dock had a chaser as I was reeling in, a nice size keeper, all the way to the boat and turned away at the boat. The other side of the dock caught a 14″ incher. I caught a couple other shorts on the jerkbait. I fished a condo dock flipping in and around 20 or so wells and caught 4 or 5, one being the keeper.
