Docks and seawall with a ledge that drops in deep water

Fishing Notes

I started the day video taping Greg Stoner with Mo Department of Conservation, and Bob sampling crappie population in the Glaize arm of the lake. The video will be available in the next week or so. After video taping I headed to a cove and threw a buzzbait around docks. The 6 pounder came out of a well of dock in about 10 feet of water and absolutely hammered it. Several other bass were chasing and a couple others hooked up. There were many short strikes as well.
The second keeper and other strikes were along a seawall in 4-8 feet of water that fell off into 40 feet. Jack Uxa with Jacks Guide service mentioned part of the lake is still turning over. Some creeks are very clear such as Racetrack and a few others. Jack mentioned the main lake is still very stained. He expects the turnover to be over in the next week or so. Jack caught a nice 4 pound chunk below the dam on a buzzbait.
