Fishing Notes |
---|
After struggling yesterday, today the bite was really on. Fishing is very interesting, today I caught a lot of fish and large fish doing exactly the same thing as yesterday. Today, I fished early AM with LOZ’s best bass fisherman Marcus Sykora. Marcus moved us from one boulder rock banks to another. Marcus was on the trolling motor thus first cast, he was throwing topwater baits, I was following with the spinner bait. The fish would short strike the top water and then eat the spinner I was throwing behind Marcus. In the afternoon I fished the 25-26mm of the Osage near Tan Tara. I continued to fish large boulder banks and caught many fish and some good keepers. There are many points n pockets in that area that transition from boulder rock, chunk rock then to mixed rock banks. With the wind blowing on the smaller rock banks, I caught several fish and the best fish of the day on the wiggle wart. Two Bassing Bob associates reported catching keeper bass today on the black buzz bait. |
