Fishing Notes |
---|
Today the fish were not very predictable, after catching 10 keepers yesterday on boulder rocks on the spinner bait, today that bite never materialized. After several hours of targeting boulder rocks, we moved to secondary points as we were seeing bait fish on the surface and periodic bust from bass. The best bite for us today was slow cranking the deep diving crank bait and wiggle wart while also slowing down the spinner bait retrieve as well. Most fish caught came in 2′ – 15′ of water deep. We tried the spook and buzz bait today, but the bass did not seem to be interested in surfacing to hit those baits for us today. |
