Fishing Notes |
---|
Today seemed like an ideal fall fishing day on Lake of the Ozarks. I rated today as fair, as I fully expected to catch more fish today, although I cannot complain about 4 fish and 4 keepers. Today I targeted black boulder rock banks. I worked open banks just inside of main lake points and cove banks with docks that had the large boulder banks. I caught 2 keepers on the spinner bait along and within the last couple of slips of the docks, 1 keeper behind a dock and 1 keeper on an open bank. I had several fish hit n miss the buzz bait as well. It seemed that a slight bit of wind on the banks or hitting on the backs of the docks helped to produce bites. Also, the areas that I caught fish, had bait fish near by, which I could see when my bait landed in the water and retrieved, I could see bait fish jumping. |
