Fishing Notes

This afternoon was a fun time bass fishing. I fished from 12:30 – 4:30 today, targeting the big boulder rock banks. A bit of wind and some shade on these banks seemed to produce more bites on the buzz bait. Also, two keepers came off the corners of docks that had wind blowing on them and a bit of shade. I had a couple of keepers in sea walls under condo docks and some good explosions on the buzz bait behind condo docks. The Crock-o-Gator Buzz Bait that is producing well for me is a 3/4 oz Head Knocker with a black blade and red head, I am throwing the bait on 50 pound braid line. The spinner bait that is producing well is a 1/2oz War Eagle in mouse color with a gold and silver willow leaf blades. You can get these baits at Fitz Fishing Bait and Tackle in Osage Beach.
