Fishing Notes |
---|
After a good day of catching some good ones yesterday afternoon, today that bite just did not materialize. Perhaps the cold front and dam generation moved the fish off the banks a bit. While I worked the same pattern today as yesterday, I was working a different set of coves and the fish just were not on the banks for most of the day. My most consistent bite today was with the War Eagle Spinner Bait along dock sided and dock fronts that had wind and shade on them. I was on the lake today from 8:30-4:30 and my first caught fish did not come until about 12:30 (a long cold morning..) I did have several good keeper blow-ups on the buzz bait behind a dock on a wire, back dock float, front corner of a dock and on a condo sea wall, however, the fish were not eating the bait like they were yesterday. On one stretch of bank with rocks, sun and wind, I had 4 bites in about 15 minutes, but only one small keeper. |
