Fishing Notes |
---|
This afternoon I fished from 12:30 – 4:00 at the 25mm – 29mm. As I am not completely familiar with this area of the lake, I spent a lot of time searching coves for chunk/boulder rock banks and condo dock banks with wind and shade. These locations/conditions have provided the most consistent bite for me the past week. Again today, the buzz bait bite was slow as was the spinner bait bite, so I threw the jig today behind docks to dock supports and pillars as well as in 6′-10′ of water around the condo sea walls. While no hawgs on any baits today, the jig did produce bites and some short fish. From what I can see on my graph, the fish seem to be on the bottom or midway in the water column, but I have not had the good consistent buzz bait and spinner bait bite that I had earlier in the week. Hopefully the fish are adapting to the weather and water temperature change and if so, the next few days could be really awesome for catching some pigs. |
