Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I fished in the afternoon, mostly exploring some new areas for the up coming weekend of Anglers in Action Tournament. I plan to target my fishing in the mid lake area, an area that I am not too familiar with, so this week I will fish a lot of spots and idle often to watch my graph looking for bait fish on secondary points, points, docks and bluffs. I will also explore areas for the shady areas that set up correctly with rocks/wind, etc. throughout the day. Today the majority of my bites came on secondary points with the wind hitting directly on the bank also, that had some shade. The buzz bait produced bites and a large swim bite the only keeper, a 15 incher :). I also saw a lot of bait fish shallow on bluffs, where I threw a spinner with not takers. |
