Fishing Notes

Jack reported fishing clear water near the dam was good. The bass were caught on wind blown points with a jerkbait. Many of the bass were small but the jerkbait bite was on. He found that the shad were off the bank unlike the Glaize where the large shad are still on the bank. The shad near the 2mm were found on his graph schooled up off the banks.
Jack reported catching a few bass in the Glaize near party cove on jerkbaits and jigs. The keeper in the Glaize came on a brown/chartreuse jig trailered with a Crock-O-Gator ring craw on the bluffs across from party cove. Other smaller bass were caught on a jerkbait in the same area.
He reported the area around Tan-Tara-A has been tough. Earlier in the week he could not find the shad in a few of these coves in that section of the lake and the bite was off.
