Fishing Notes |
---|
This afternoon was a good day. I fished from about 12:30-4:30, although it was a bit colder today than yesterday with the wind, the fishing was good and that always keeps me warm. I worked the same patterns today as yesterday however in different areas and different coves, targeting transition banks that have small rock to larger chunky rock, bait fish are starting to get closer to the tops of smaller coves and there are still bait fish in the middle areas towards the back halves of larger coves. Fish caught today on the jig were in 4′-8′ of water and the fish caught on the jerk bait were in 4′-15′ of water – wind seemed to help with the jerkbait as I had more bites when there was some chop on the water. |
