Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I fished with Ben Verhoef (Mizzou Bass Fishing Club President) in the toll bridge area from the 15mm-16mm. The water was rather calm on secondary points and creek banks that we wanted to fish, so we sought out shade on banks that had slight wind and chunky rock near main lake and secondary points. We caught some small ones in the jerkbait, jig and spinner. The only good keeper came on a jerkbait over about 12 feet of water out about 20 yards from the bank. The water temp by the toll bridge was 46-49, a full couple of degrees warmer than the Glaize, so when there was wind, I threw the spinner and got bit. |
