Fishing Notes |

Another day with no boated fish. Today Wayne and I were practicing for the Joe Bass Tournament tomorrow, so as much as we fished we were also checking out spots for the tournament. We found plenty of fish, but we could not get them to bite. We fished with the Jig (one drum), jerkbait and Alabama Rig (two bites, but the fish must have bit the dummy baits). The bite is just tough right now, the fish are in the good winter locations, but seem to be on the bottom and in brush piles and they just are not biting very well. No fish today, no pics :). |
