Fishing Notes |
---|
Well, the fish just do not want to bite what I am throwing at them. Today, I was able to find fish on my graph a bit better than over the weekend, but no takers. I broke off a couple of A-Rigs in brush piles even though I am throwing the A-Rig on on 65 pound braid. The fish seem to be in brush piles and laying on the bottom in 15-30 feet of water. This afternoon I threw jerk baits both weighted and un weighted, A-Rig and Crock-o-Gator swamp bug on a COG shaky head on the bottom. The backs of many of the coves and pockets are frozen but that should melt away in a few days as the weather starts to warm a bit. I have been soaking the areas with long pauses 20-30 seconds with the jerk bait but just cannot get a bite. |
