Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I had full intentions of fishing several hours, however, I had to get off the water after an hour to attend to some business. While on the water, I observed that there was still some ice in the very backs of the coves, while the far backs of coves do not seem like the best location for catching bass right now, there has been a migration of a lot of shad to the backs of some coves. I through the jerk bait for an hour onto the banks that held the first stretches of deep water from the backs of the coves. The fish seem to be there on my graph, but while some are starting to move higher in the water column, many fish are still holding tight to the bottom. |
