Fishing Notes |
---|
Another tough day fishing in the mid lake area. While the water temperature is on the rise, the bite in this stretch around Tan Tara and also the mouth of Glaize to the toll bridge is just not yet. The water was extremely flat today, so the jerk bait bite was virtually non existent, so I threw a jig and COG Swamp Bug most of the day. The water in narrow long coves is a bit more stained while the larger open coves the water is pretty clear. The few bites that I had came on the jerk bait when there was a bit of chop on the water over about 10-12 feet of water off rocky banks. |
