Shallow rocky banks in coves in Osage River area, fishing shallow on the bottom slowly. |
Fishing Notes |
---|
Today was a fun day fishing with of LOZ’s best bass fisherman Wayne Fitzpatrick, owner of Fitz Fishing. Wayne and I fished the Osage River area, working coves with shallow big rock banks. Our fish came shallow today in anywhere from 1-4 feet of water. The tube caught the most fish, but we caught several fish on the spinner bait as well. The wind was a factor in particular for the spinner bait bite. The water temperature however was not as warm as I might have thought it would be in these shallow coves. |
