Today started out a little slow as I worked the jerk bait and A-Rig off the bank out to about 15 feet of water as it seemed that my graph was indicating that the fish were suspended well off the banks. I only had moderate success with a couple of short fish. Then I moved to the backs of coves and fished chunk and small rock banks that near deep water creek channels and got bit on Dirks jig. As mentioned in yesterdays report, Dirks jig caught a lot of fish in this past weekends tournaments, so I tried it out this week and the past two days I have caught some quality keepers with it.
