Fishing Notes |
---|
Today we fished the USA Bassin tournament out of PB2. The bite for the bigger fish was difficult. We had several bites on both the jig and jerkbait in 1-8 feet of water on a transition bank that leads into the back of a small creek. We had one small keeper and at least 12 bass all together, We had a good one break off on the hook set, the bad part of that besides losing the fish it surfaced a couple times trying to throw the jig, salt in the wounds for sure. Then we had another good bite on the jerkbait with good weight that came off after a couple cranks. 8 of the bass, including the break off and keeper on a jerkbait that came off, were caught on a 30 yard stretch of bank on a transition bank towards the back end of a small creek. |
