Fishing Notes |
---|
Today I had the pleasure of fishing with my good friend and Bassing Bob Expert, Jack Uxa, owner of Jacks Guide Service. Jack and I were both in practice mode today, Jack was practicing for some up coming guide trips and I was practicing for an upcoming tournament this weekend. We threw many baits and colors today, to see what the fish would respond to the best. We also fished clear water, stained-muddy water up the Glaize, windy points and pockets with no wind. I am not sure that we figured out a lot for catching big fish as we only caught two small keepers all day, however we had the most bites today on the Carolina rig. All of the C-Rig fish were shorts however, and most of those bites came off the bank in about 4-10 feet of water on shallow flats in and around spawning pockets. We got bit on every bait we threw today with the exception of no bites on the buzz bait. |
