Fishing Notes |
---|
Today, I was not able to fish until about 5:00 as my boat was being worked on due to some battery problems I had this weekend, the best bass boat mechanic on the Lake, Dan Bowman at Formula Boats in Osage Beach diagnosed my problem as a battery charger issue. From 5-7 if concentrated fishing around the backs of coves, secondary points and spawning pockets, hoping to pick off an early spawning female. Wednesday will be the April full moon which will likely have some fish spawning early. This past weekend I saw a few bass beds in the backs of some pockets. I did not catch any spawners, but a few short fish, one on the spinner and a couple including a small keeper on the Carolina Rig. No bites today on the Jig or Wiggle Wart. |
