Fishing Notes

Today we explored many coves, a few in the Glaize, then from the Glaize to the 11mm checking spots for the AIA tournament tomorrow.
The bass were biting at every stop we made. We fished pockets in the glaize to start with a few males roaming the back of a flat. We fished behind some condo docks and got bit but were short fish. Many of the fish were caught were on or near secondary points with small rock. A funny thing happened today. Ben was on the phone, made a cast near a dock while on the phone, when he made that cast I managed to get hung up in a brush pile, i turned to let him know I was hung, up at the same time, while holding the phone, Ben sets the hook on a fish, “says I gotta go” drops the phone and lands a 6+ pounder!! It was quite the experience. Fishing was good today with about 16+ pounds. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow.
