Fishing Notes |
---|
We did not get on the water today until mid afternoon. We had about an hour to fish before a strong storm with high winds drenched us. Mainly we were looking for bedding bass in small cuts in the cove. Bob worked on a 5 pounder for a while while I flipped the opposite bank with a jig. Caught 2 small keepers dragging the jig around in the small cut. We left there and went to the back of a cove with several dock and pea gravel and small chunk rock mixed. caught a small Kentucky on the deep end of the dock. Caught the 4 pounder skipping the jig in 2 feet of water under the dock between the black floats just in time as the skies opened a few minutes later. |
