Fishing Notes |
---|
The water level has risen due to recent rains, however, the water clarity is still very good. However with the higher water, overcast skies and strong wind, it was difficult to see bedding bass, so I backed off the banks and threw the lizard and brush hog around and between the last few docks in the backs of coves, small pockets toward the backs of coves and the flats in the backs of coves. The bite was fairly consistent in about 2′-8′ of water. I did see a few bedding bass, I worked them for about 20 minutes with a white jig/beaver and lizard but the fish would not commit to taking the bait although they did go down on the bait a couple of times but just nipped at the tails. |
