Fishing Notes |
---|
Today was another tough day searching for beds due to the overcast skies, choppy water and the rising water. I was able to see several new beds shallower with fish, however the new fish that have come onto these beds seem to be a bit smaller than the fish last week. It was great having my son Robbie fishing with me as I searched so to see what the fish would bite. The fish were biting the jig much better than anything else. The Dirk’s jig, which can be purchased only at Fitz Fishing in Osage Beach got bit consistently throughout the afternoon around spawning areas off docks and some secondary points. The lizard caught a couple of fish but not many. We also threw the tube, a senco on a shaky head and jerk bait. |
