Fishing Notes |
---|
Today we went out in the late afternoon due to meetings we had most of the day. We made a short run from the Glaize to Linn Creek as Bob still had some break in time on his motor. We started on the first dock that dropped into deeper water from the back of a flat in a creek. We caught 4 bass on the dock, 1 on the deep corner, 2 on the side with wind blowing on it and one behind the dock. We fished a small shallow pocket with a couple more non keepers. After catching the fish on the first dock we were planning on running that pattern for a while. Thanks to a gentlemen on his porch that warned us about a storm coming in, we were able to get back just in time before a nasty storm hit us. We only fished 45 minutes at the most but with more time were were confident that this pattern would have produced some nice keepers. |
