Fishing Notes |
---|
Today Rob and fished for a few hours late morning from about 10:00 – 12:00 and then late afternoon from about 3:00 – 7:00. We caught fish in the morning mostly on the Dirks Jig. We were checking out main lake points, condo docks and some bluffs, while we had about 7 bites, no keepers. We had more bites including 3 keepers in the late afternoon/early evening. Rob caught a nice 3 1/2 – 4 pounder on a main lake point near the 17mm on a Crock-o-Gator Shaker Head with Senco, we had another keeper on the same COG w Senco near a dock, both in about 18′ of water, our other keeper was caught on a Crock-o-Gator 1 OZ jig with a Zoom Speed Craw Trailer in about 12′ of water on a slightly sloping point with wind hitting directly on the point. Bait fish near by seem to be a key to getting bit. |
