Fishing Notes |
---|
Today was a fun day fishing with Denise Dill (cover girl of June Fishing News Magazine), we enjoyed a couple of pitchers of mimosa’s (OJ and Champagne) to celebrate Denise summer vacation from teaching and enjoying her favorite hobby, bass fishing. We did not have a lot of bites, 4 bass and 2 keepers, but we were seeing a lot of fish and bait fish near the bluff ledges high in the water column, with the dam starting to generate water we felt that we should have got bit a lot better than we did. Denise caught the best bass of the day, a fat Kentucky bass near condo docks on a Crock-o-Gator Jig. This evening my brother and I fished the Wednesday night tournament for the first time ever. We had some good bites on the spook and shaker head but only managed to have two keepers make it to the live well. |
