Fishing Notes |
---|
This evening Rob and I went searching for some type of a pattern as the recent dam generation was virtually shut down, thus the main lake ledges, points and long points have not produced too well without the generation. We did not have great success finding a pattern. It seemed that the fish were mid way in the water column close to bait fish, in about 8′-15′ of water over 20′-30′ of water. While we threw our most successful baits of late, the COG Shaker Head with a worm and jigs, we also threw crank baits, swim baits and top water without much success. Rob caught a nice keeper, close to 3 pounds on a deep secondary point and I had a 16.5″ keeper around a bluff end around condo docks. |
