Fishing Notes

Last Night Ben and I took out of PB2 at 6:30 and headed to the North Shore.Knowing that the Tournament is only 3 and a half hours we know we have to get on good fish quick! It was about 7:15 When we got or first good fish of the night, it came deep on a main lake point around brush in about 30′ of water, that fish weighed 4.98 lbs. We continued on going from brush to brush the second spot we pulled up on we were able to put a solid 3.5 pounder in the box! At this time it was about 8:15 and we had two solid fish, then Ben sets the hook on a real nice 4.5 pounder! that fish had us convinced that we have of chance of winning this thing! So as the sun started to set we targeted condo docks and were able to put two more fish in the box, that put us at a limit, the only problem was they were smaller keepers so it didn’t add that much weight to our sack! We ended up in 7th place with 16.18lbs so Ben and I left the weigh ins happy knowing we had a pretty good bag of fish.
