Fishing Notes

The night started off great!! I got on the water about 6 oclock and started in the Glaze. I started on a point knowing that they were generating some water today. Fished the point for about ten minutes without a bite so i ventured into a cut right inside of the point and started getting bite right away in brush piles. on back to back cast i caught two keepers and i knew the bite was going to be on!! so i called my fishing partner Ben Verhoef and said hey man im picking you up the fish are biting!!! so ben and i went back into the glaze and headed right to some known piles we have.We go to drop the trolling in and notice the pedal was loose. We looked at each other and said ohhh man not again!!! for ben and i do not have the best luck in my dads boat…we catch fish in it but we usually experience boat problems!!! So with no trolling motor we were bummed so we just idled around and marked good spots for tournament fishing. the night ended with us catching a few shorts around docks in his boat.
