Fishing Notes |

I am quite sure that all of you are getting a bit bored with all my time lately in the Glaze. Hopefully you will understand that right now I am sinking brush piles the majority of the time and fishing for only an hour here and there. I am preparing for some up-coming tournaments and my back yard is what I know the best. However, I do plan to move to other areas to add brush and fish. If you have been out fishing, we really appreciate your fishing reports through the member fishing reports tab. This morning I got on the water about 6:30, with the intent to sink 4 new piles and do a small amount of fishing. After cutting/dragging some dead bank wood, I fished for about an hour, catching one short fish and a nice 3.5 pounder skipping the brush hog into the darkest part of a dock. This evening my brother Dave and I sank 4 more brush piles and fished for about and hour or so, Dave and I both had bites that we missed, I caught one 16″ keeper on the brush hog on a deep rocky point but the fish came in about 6′ of water. I left my camera on the boat, so I do not have a pic of the 3.5 pounder, will update the pics tomorrow. |
