Brush piles in 15′-25′ of water. |
Fishing Notes |
---|
This morning I got on the water about 9:00AM. As I have sank about 20+ brush piles the last two weeks, I thought I would go check on some of them, first to see if I can find them and hit them consistently and second to see if there were any fish on them that were interested in a worm for breakfast. I had three bites including a small keeper off two of the piles. It is harder than I thought it would be to re-locate the brush piles, even with waypoints and bank markings. Considering such, after I would hit the pile, I continued to cast to it continuously from different angles to be sure that I can hit them without searching every time. It did feel rewarding to catch some fish off the brush that I sank, kind of like a nice Xmas gift :). |
