Fishing Notes

Tonight I was lucky enough again to go fishing with Vern! We were both unsure about how the bite would be due to the cool front and rain we have gotten. Vern and i fished up by the dam on the north shore this evening, not getting on the water untill about 7 oclock. So given the fact that we only had a hour or so of daylight we wanted to utilize our time wisely. We targeted main water brush around docks and points and also in the creeks. The bite started out slow but it seemed as soon as the sun went down behind the tree line the fish started biting really good. At that time Vern and i must have caught 7 fish in about 15 minutes! I love fishing with Vern because not only do we have a great time together i get a quality fishing education that will stick with me my entire life! concluding this report id have to say the fishing was solid. Im still catching deep fish but i encourage all to try shallow also, for that bite is starting to pick up strong.
