Fishing Notes |
---|
This morning I got on the water about 8:00AM. I started fishing the buzz bait around big rock banks from the toll bridge down to the 10mm, shade was the key to the buzz bait bite. As I am practicing for a tournament this weekend, I did not set the hook on the bass today, however one big one on the buzz bait just ate the bait and I could not shake it off, it was easily a 3-4 pounder, see picture. After the sun rose and I was out of shade, I started fishing shallow cove docks, flipping the D-Bomb and brush hog on Waynes Creature Keeper head (Fitz Fishing), I had my hooks covered, so I am only guessing at how many keepers today, but I did have 13 bites on the docks and over 15 on the buzz bait early. |
