Fishing Notes |

Today i fished through some down pour rain!! but it wasn’t to bad it was more of spot showers here and there. Once i got on the water i knew i was going to try some top water on this rainy overcast day, it can be a fun day with these weather conditions and a top water bait! surprisingly with no blow ups on the spook or buzz bait i decided to take advantage of the gusty wind and fish some main lake points with wind hitting directly on it. This plan worked out good for catching numbers of fish, i fished from the grand glaze mouth up to about the 10mm, catching a bunch of fish on the crankbait but only 1 small keeper. The the wind died down on me a little bit so i decided to go mess around in some brush piles. This particular pile is in the back of a cove but still has good deep water. I pulled up to it and worked it from the outside in and got three bites on my first three cast into it!!! two of them solid keepers. I ended my day on that note!! |
